On February 24th 1864 my Great Great Great Great Grandfather Henry Jackson registered with the 32nd United States Colored Infantry Regiment in our fine town of New Brighton Pennsylvania at 18 years old. The Armory of New Brighton, now our borough building and Police Department has stood the test of time and has served our town well. I admire the history of arms and munitions of this great County. Having resided in this area and providing services at the Historic John Brown's Armory, it is my great pleasure to present to you NEW BRIGHTON ARMORY!
